As the Trump administration intensifies its attacks on immigrant communities, we need state leaders who will fight for us and protect all New Yorkers.

We call on all of our elected officials and decision makers to show true leadership and join us as invested partners in ensuring justice and opportunity for all.

In order to increase the political potency of the immigrant vote, NYIC Action endorses candidates and elected officials who stand up for immigrant communities and against anti-immigrant opponents.   

We offer this vision in five issue areas that are critical to immigrant communities throughout New York State:

• Ending State Support for Detention, Deportation and Mass Incarceration

• Creating Healthy Communities

• Ensuring Access to Quality Education

• Building Political Power and Guaranteed Civil Rights

• Ensuring Economic Justice and Good Jobs

In order to be considered for our official endorsement process, candidates for State Legislature must pledge to champion our vision and adopt it as part of their campaign’s policy platform.

We are now accepting applications for endorsement from candidates running for New York State Senate and Assembly in 2026. Please complete the application below by Monday, February 16 at 11:59pm to be considered.
